I Am New
New
We all were new, at one time or another and we remember what it's like. So we've provided the information below, knowing that it's easier when you have an idea of what to expect.

About Us
Metropolitan Christian Methodist Episcopal (C.M.E.) Church exists to encourage all people to pursue a lifelong, joyous relationship with Jesus Christ. Rev. Allen Page, III is the pastor and has been since August 2014. Metropolitan is a part of the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church; Christian meaning we are followers of Jesus Christ; Methodist indicating the unbroken bond with the Methodist organization of John Wesley; and Episcopal referring to governed by bishops. |
Sunday Mornings
Greeters will welcome you at the door, providing you with a bulletin, a guest card and will assist you with any questions you may have. A Children’s Ministry area is reserved for children through the ages 2 years to 12 years on the 2nd and 4th Sundays. As you enter the sanctuary, ushers will greet you and direct you to a seat of your choice. We invite you to participate in Christ-centered praise and worship. Our services typically begin with a time of singing and praise, followed by worship. |
Help on Sunday
If you have questions about worship or Sunday classes, ask the Greeter at the Welcome Center in the main lobby. If you need to talk or pray with someone about a personal struggle, look for a Prayer Ministry volunteer. This group of men and women have studied and trained for weeks so they can offer you a listening ear, sincere prayer, and biblical encouragement.

Getting Connected
During the days following your visit, you will receive a letter from us letting you know how much we enjoyed having you visit with us. Know that you could have worshiped in numerous places throughout this city but you chose Metropolitan and for that we are honored. Now that you have worshiped with us we would like to keep you connected. One way to get connected is to join a fellowship group or Bible study.
